We provide bin sizes from 2-cubic metres to 10-cubic metres – enough to tackle any sized project. Our Skip bins can be hired specifically for green waste or general waste.

Smaller Sized Skip Bins

2m3 Skip Bin

A 2-metre skip bin is just the right size for small weekend working bees and quick clean-up jobs. For example, green waste from the removal of trees, shrubs and overgrown gardens is perfect for the 2-metre skip. The 2-cubic metre bin holds approximately six standard wheelie bins or 1 (6×4) box trailer loads. We have both green waste and general waste skip bin hires available in this size for next day delivery in most cases.

3m3 Skip Bin

A 3-metre skip bin is the next size up. It is useful for slightly larger garden maintenance jobs, fence removal, minor demolitions or general clean-ups. The 3-cubic metre bin holds approximately 1.5 (6×4) box trailer loads. Each skip bin has a label on the side saying, “Do not fill above the rim” indicating that you must not fill the skip any higher than the top edge. If you feel that you are not sure which size to use, perhaps go to the next size up to ensure you can fit all of your waste into the one skip without issue.

4m3 Skip Bin

The 4-metre skip bin holds approximately 2 (6×4) box trailer loads and is available for both green and general waste situations. If you are doing a renovation job, such as a small bathroom update, our 4-metre skip bin would be ideal. This size is also great when performing a general clean-up, moving house or office, or doing maintenance work on your rental property where you have light building waste to dispose of.

The maximum skip size for solid fill is 4m3.

Medium Sized Skip Bins – The Most Versatile Sizes

6m3 Skip Bin

The most versatile skip bin for residential clean-ups, renovations and landscaping waste is our 6-metre skip bin. It is large enough to suit the majority of residential needs, so you can be sure that all of your rubbish can be removed efficiently. This bin is ideal for domestic maintenance waste, light construction demolition waste from kitchens or more extensive bathroom renovations and landscaping waste. Skips larger than 4-cubic metres must not contain heavy materials. The 6-cubic metre skip holds approximately 3 (6×4) box trailer loads.

8m3 Skip Bin

Larger projects, including significant demolition waste, general household goods and landscaping waste from complete garden make-overs will require the 8-metre skip bin. This larger size bin is suitable for larger projects, where your project timeline is about a week. The 8-cubic metre skips are available in both green waste and general waste depending on your project needs.

Our Largest Skip Bin

10m3 Skip Bin

The 10-metre skip bin is our largest bin and is available in both green and general waste. This size is generally used by builders, carpenters and commercial uses who require a decent amount of space. Private residential customers undertaking larger projects also find this skip bin very useful. The larger size means they do not need to hire more than one skip. The bigger size is still suitable for large weekend clean-ups. Common waste types include garden waste, light demolition waste and general household goods.
